A time I felt connected to nature

Prompt response: When I was younger, me and my dad used to go hiking on a trail behind our house. We would take a trail down to the Chattahoochee River and sit on a big rock as we are saltiness and watched the River. Feeling the sun my skin and surrounding myself with the sounds of nature made me feel very connected and grounded with the earth. Sometimes, I like to sit outside and pretend I’m back on that rock sunbathing.

Summary: Today in class, we discussed Native American literature. We also discussed the differences form myths, themes, and religion.

Reflection; Today I learned that Native American literature had many themes and that they are not a dying culture.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

As you gathered sources, you were expected to find multiple perspectives on your topic. What differences did you notice between your sources? Explain how these differences helped you better understand the complexity of your issue.

Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?
