Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

 Prompt Response: One of the questions that I always find myself asking is where did the pyramids come from? Some people day that they were built by people, but doing further reasearch, I have found that the stones were so precisely cut and weighed more than any person or persons could carry. Tying into my next question is "what kind of technology did the ancient egyptians have?" I ponder on this question because in order to cut those stones that precicley, you have to have some kind of advanced super technology, that even today, we don't have. 

Summary: Today in class, we started writing our own origin myth stories. We outlined a structure with the characters we wanted, the setting, the plot, and the series of events that we could follow.

Reflection: Today, I learned that I can make a very interesting story if I concentrate on what I want in my story, who the story is about, and essencially follow a structure that contains the elements of my desired story.

As you gathered sources, you were expected to find multiple perspectives on your topic. What differences did you notice between your sources? Explain how these differences helped you better understand the complexity of your issue.

  Prompt Response:  I found lots of differences within my sources. Some said that highly involved parenting was important, while others said that uninvolved and less restricted parenting was crucial for child development. These differences helped me understand different viewpoints and how each one wasn't necessarily wrong, but just different. Summary: Today, we started our spreadsheet on Word of our sources. Reflection:  Today I learned how different viewpoints can help people better understand the same issue.

Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

  Prompt Response:  Currently, I have been taking a very long hiatus from creating art. The last time I made something was over the summer and I feel like I am not very motivated to even start anything now. I feel like I should step out of my comfort zone and start creating art with more meaning behind it, but I don't know where to start. Summary: Today we discussed rhetorical questions, antithesis, and another writing skill. Reflection:  Today I learned what an antithesis.
