How has the class been going for you so far?

 Prompt Response: This class has been going very good so far. I feel like I'm staying on track with my assignments easily and I like how introspective it is. I love analyzing art, and I am glad that we get to do so with Emily Dickinson's poems. I love all of the meaning behind them and her fantastic choice of words.

  Prompt Response:  One thing that I have enjoyed the most was bettering connections with my friends. This has allowed me to have a closer-knit group of people in this class and also insight on who I can rely on. As you gathered sources, you were expected to find multiple perspectives on your topic. What differences did you notice between your sources? Explain how these differences helped you better understand the complexity of your issue.

  Prompt Response:  I found lots of differences within my sources. Some said that highly involved parenting was important, while others said that uninvolved and less restricted parenting was crucial for child development. These differences helped me understand different viewpoints and how each one wasn't necessarily wrong, but just different. Summary: Today, we started our spreadsheet on Word of our sources. Reflection:  Today I learned how different viewpoints can help people better understand the same issue.

Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

  Prompt Response:  Currently, I have been taking a very long hiatus from creating art. The last time I made something was over the summer and I feel like I am not very motivated to even start anything now. I feel like I should step out of my comfort zone and start creating art with more meaning behind it, but I don't know where to start. Summary: Today we discussed rhetorical questions, antithesis, and another writing skill. Reflection:  Today I learned what an antithesis.
