Write about a time when you were judged unfairly.

Prompt Response: A time when I was judged unfairly is when I was in an art competition. I spend days working on a piece that I poured my heart out on, and I believed fully that it was my best piece. I was very excited and relieved that I had gotten my work done just in time for submission. On the day of the competition, the judge's daughter was competing. I immediately knew that the judging could be biased, but I held my head high and hoped for the best. At the end of the competition, I reviewed the votes, just to find my piece lost to another. When I viewed the piece that placed first, I instantly became enraged. I had lost to a red dot on a blank white canvas.

Summary: Today in class we did a common lit assignment

Review: Today I learned a new way to view fear.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

After viewing your classmates’ digital posters and reading the feedback comments left on your work, what new ideas or perspectives did you gain about your poster? Reflect on how the feedback influenced the way you think about your creative choices and describe what you learned about the creative process while designing and presenting your poster.
