Write about the best gift you have received.

Prompt Response: The best gift that I have ever received was poster made by my boyfriend. He gave me this poster to ask me to homecoming with him, even though we are already dating. I consider it my best gift because it had a message that you could only get by really knowing me and knowing my interests. What made me value it even more though is upon closer inspection, I could see where he had erased and gone over and over again with his outline, retrying until it was perfect.

Summary: Today, we discussed the importance of explaining the evidence that supports a claim.

Reflection: Today, I learned that you have to elaborate in more than one way to convey your evidence.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

After viewing your classmates’ digital posters and reading the feedback comments left on your work, what new ideas or perspectives did you gain about your poster? Reflect on how the feedback influenced the way you think about your creative choices and describe what you learned about the creative process while designing and presenting your poster.
