 Prompt Response: The guardian in my life that has been the most strict is my mom. I remember always being scared to ask her to hang out with my friends when I was younger because I feared that she would make me do chores before I went out. I also always made sure that I was home well before I was supposed to be, because if I wasn't, I would be grounded and I wouldn't be allowed to go out until the next day. I would also get my curfew shortened and I would have to do chores in order to gain my privileges of going outside back. I also remember my mom being very strict about me getting my chores done. If I didn't get them done, I had to do an extra chore the next day and I wouldn't be able to do anything fun until I got it done.

Summary: Today, we are working on our rockpile project.

Reflection: Today, I reflected on how strict my parents were when I was younger.

  Prompt Response:  I found lots of differences within my sources. Some said that highly involved parenting was important, while others said that uninvolved and less restricted parenting was crucial for child development. These differences helped me understand different viewpoints and how each one wasn't necessarily wrong, but just different. Summary: Today, we started our spreadsheet on Word of our sources. Reflection:  Today I learned how different viewpoints can help people better understand the same issue.

Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

  Prompt Response:  Currently, I have been taking a very long hiatus from creating art. The last time I made something was over the summer and I feel like I am not very motivated to even start anything now. I feel like I should step out of my comfort zone and start creating art with more meaning behind it, but I don't know where to start.
