Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.

Prompt Response: I think the place where I feel the most at peace is my Grandparent's house. It could be because every time I go over there, it is usually during a break in school, or a time I don't have work which allows me to really relax, or maybe it's because of the calm countryside. I love going to my grandparent's house because I feel like time slows down, due to the calmness of the countryside.

Summary: Today, we analyzed what a simile, metaphor, and analogy is and we also analyzed a speech from Trump.

Reflection: Today I learned how much rhetoric can be used and seen today in speeches and important dialogue.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

After viewing your classmates’ digital posters and reading the feedback comments left on your work, what new ideas or perspectives did you gain about your poster? Reflect on how the feedback influenced the way you think about your creative choices and describe what you learned about the creative process while designing and presenting your poster.
