Describe a real moment in your life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story. Tell what happened, and why it felt like a turning point in your life?

Prompt Response: When I was younger, I had a small group of friends that consisted of the girls in my neighborhood. However, there was this one girl who would always lie to us. She was very manipulative and just a mean person, spreading lies about all of us behind our backs. Eventually, me as well as all of my friends found out and confronted her. We all stood our ground, and in the end, she stopped telling lies about us behind our backs and she became a better person.

Summary: Today we practiced writing rhetorical claims.

Reflection: Today I learned the parts of a rhetorical essay.
