If you had to describe how you show love using only three objects (for example: a playlist, a hoodie, a late-night snack, a long text message, etc.), what would you choose and why? Explain what each object represents and how it connects to your personality.

Prompt Response: For my three objects, I would choose a letter, a playlist, and a jacket. I am someone who lives for self expression, and when I love someone, I only want to express how much I love them. I choose the letter for my first object because sometimes I don't know any other way of expression besides through my words. Verbally expressing my love can give people some understanding of how much I feel, but I also chose the jacket because I love physical mementos. I love having a piece of someone I love that I can just surround myself in, literally. I choose the playlist because to me, music is very important and has always been around me so sharing it would be like sharing a piece of one another with each other.

Summary: Today we wrote poems to our parents for Valentine's day.

Reflection: Today I learned how I like to write poems.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

After viewing your classmates’ digital posters and reading the feedback comments left on your work, what new ideas or perspectives did you gain about your poster? Reflect on how the feedback influenced the way you think about your creative choices and describe what you learned about the creative process while designing and presenting your poster.
