Think about a moment when your understanding of your family changed as you got older. How did that shift impact your perspective, and how does that connect to Chris’s realization about his parents in Chapter 11?

Prompt Response: As I have gotten older, I have been able to see the effort and care that my dad puts into me and my family. He has made so many sacrifices over the years and it truly means a lot to me that I've been able to see this as I've gotten older. I am very appreciative of his efforts, and he inspires much of my own.

Summary: Today we read a chapter of Into the Wild.

Reflection: Today I learned how appreciative I am of my dad's efforts

(SIDE NOTE: I promise I published this on time but I don't think it went through because there were a lot of internet issues this day)

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

As you gathered sources, you were expected to find multiple perspectives on your topic. What differences did you notice between your sources? Explain how these differences helped you better understand the complexity of your issue.

Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?
